Haiti: pro bono web design and development

We are looking a business or organisation in Haiti who’d like a pro bono web design and development.  We’ll design, build and host the website free of charge.

If you know of any businesses directly, or ways of finding one, please let me have your suggestions by 14th February.

Haiti earthquake: fetching water
As Haiti reconstructs after the earthquake, its emerging businesses will need to find ways to trade. A free web development struck me as the best way we could offer support. The website could be a brochure site, ecommerce shop, a membership site for an organisation, or even an online magazine.

The difficulty is finding a suitable business in Haiti, and that’s where I’m hoping you can help. Perhaps you have a direct contact, or maybe you’ll know someone who does and re-tweet this out to them.

I’d like suggestions by 14th February, we’ll choose one and design and build the website during February / March.

If you are a French translator, and would like to help on the web design and development project, please let me know.

Really pleased to announce we are building a website for the Institute for Human and Community Development (IHCD) schools in Haiti.

The schools provide education, healthcare and support for abused (Restavek) and poor children in Haiti.

I'll blog about the project in more detail separately.
